Sherwood FC - Welcome
Sherwood FC was founded in 1996 and was very proud to achieve Charter Standard Development Club status in the 2007/08 season. Even though we prefer winning to losing we do not run teams to win at all costs, and we provide good quality coaching and facilities so that players and teams improve their skills all the time.
Sherwood Football Club prizes enjoyment, development, sportsmanship and teamwork above winning and always demand good conduct from players, supporters, managers and coaches.
Sherwood Football Club is proud of its diverse mix of players and we will always encourage our teams to provide football for children irrespective of their social and ethnic background. We are keen to expand the number of teams we have that provide football for girls.
This is the homepage of Sherwood Football Club and our site is mainly aimed at:
Club officials, team managers & coaches as a way of helping them to run the club and its teams by providing a quick and easy means of communication
Our soccer parents, spectators and ‘interested others’ to keep them up-to-date with the fortunes of the team their player is involved with, and
Players and parents interested in Sherwood FC by providing them with reliable and up-to-date information about opportunities to play, manage, coach or become a club official.
