Quite a start to the new mini-soccer season for Sherwood Boys mini-soccer teams. Here are the details:
U9 Sat (Blue) won 7-1 at home; U9 Sat (Red) won 4-0 away in their first ever league match; U9 Sun won 16-0 (yes, sixteen nil - away as well!); U10 Sat won 3-2 away; and U10 Sun (Blue) won 5-3 at home.
Our U11, eleven-a-side boys also ran out handsome winners at home in their first ever match on a full pitch. It wasn't exactly 35-6 but let's face it 11-1 is near enough.
Just to be clear - if all five teams ever lose on the same weekend you won't read about it here!
